The prologue

There are a multitude of factors which led to the creation of Unicorn of Tomorrow.

We, the people behind the concept, got together during the peak of the 2020 pandemic and decided that we wanted to do something interesting and rewarding together. At first we discussed several other projects, each one with a specific goal. These goals reflected our own individual skills, ambitions and visions. To raise capital for smaller businesses, to match investors with innovations on disparate continents, or to scale up “do good” companies.

During the lead-up to the Unicorn of Tomorrow grand finale, the finalists will already have been pitched to investors, and many dialogues about funding will have been already begun.

AWARDS GALA EVENT
On October 2nd, 2022, the day after the Unicorn of Tomorrow winner has been announced at the grand finale, the Unicorn of Tomorrow Global Awards and Gala Event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden. At the gala, alongside the global winner, representatives of seven special areas will also be recognized, according to the newly formed F.O.R.W.AR.D. program (see this category as a separate headline in the menu) 

At the Gala Event the venue for the next Unicorn of Tomorrow contest finale will also be announced.
